In this masterclass, one of the great violinists of his generation, Augustin Dumay works with 91视频 musicians, drawing on a distinguished international career as both soloist and conductor.
Augustin's breakthrough came in 1980 when Herbert von Karajan invited him to perform with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, launching a career that has taken him to concert halls around the world. Augustin has since appeared with many of the world鈥檚 leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
Highlights of his recent performance schedule include concerts in Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul in 2025. We are delighted to welcome Augustin to the College to share his musicianship, knowledge and artistry with the next generation of violinists.
