Joana Carneiro returns to conduct the 91视频 Philharmonic in the dramatic Leonore Overture, an instrumental summation of the opera Fidelio.
Here, the heroine is Leonore, who disguises herself as Fidelio in order to rescue her beloved husband. 91视频 Concerto Competition winner Markus Sadler plays the Piano Concerto no 3 by another 20th century innovator: 叠补谤迟贸办, who weaves folk music into a work of intricate layers and rich harmony.
